Thirty-six sisters, 29 gathered in person and 7 participating online, began their three-day meeting of Superiors, RCAs, and Treasurers at the Manresa Retreat House on October 31, 2026.

Sr. Leoly outlined the objectives and program of the three-day gathering, introduced the moderators—Srs. Gemma Dougles, Victoria Lim, and herself—and thanked the teams who prepared for the encounter.
The morning sessions explored Determination #21, “From Vulnerability to Strength: A Process of Adaptation,” emphasizing four steps: evaluate, discern, adapt, and act. The sisters were also invited to deepen their identity as daughters through a renewed experience of the filiation lived by Mother Foundress, with twelve roadmaps presented to guide this journey.
In the afternoon, attention turned to the Congregation’s new Code of Ethics, which promotes a culture of care in service of the mission. Approved on October 3, 2026, it will take effect on January 3, 2027. The sisters also received an introduction to the forthcoming Hijas de Jesús Care Foundation, scheduled for launch on December 6.
The day provided an opportunity not only to receive important updates but also to reflect on how, as daughters of Mother Cándida, they can continue adapting, growing in communion, and caring for the mission today.
